The First Four

The original works, and what grew from them

As the first exhibition of SAISEI Creators Project, we introduce four artists.

Danny, who takes up the brush in quiet hours in Taiwan. Y.Kondo, who draws the streets of Otaru one sheet at a time in fine lines. Yuri, who captures Otaru's sea and winter scenes in soft colors. And Ryuji Ogura, who continues to tell the story of a young tengu and the festivals of Otaru.

The four artists' original works take new forms as T-shirts, tote bags and notebooks, and go out into everyday life. In this exhibition, the original works are shown side by side with what grew from them. We hope you will sense the journey a single picture takes until it reaches someone's daily life.
